Soma - Downtown Expression
Soma - Downtown is incarnating Jesus Christ in and around Tacoma. Our city is a mixture of urban and semi-urban neighborhoods, all with their own unique rhythms of life and opportunities to meet and engage people. Like the city of Tacoma, we have a somewhat "gritty", younger feel to our family. We are growing rapidly; both younger (many new babies) and older (thank God for more mature believers) at the same time. God has allowed us to bless our city through low income and transitional housing, teaching/training, extensive work helping local social services and loving our neighborhoods like Jesus would if he lived here!
Our Weekly Gathering
We gather together for fellowship, teaching, communion, and worship every Sunday
morning at 10:00 a.m. on the corner of 24th and Pacific in beautiful
downtown Tacoma. Entrance to the building is on Commerce Street.
