Soma - North of Tacoma
Soma - North of Tacoma Core Group is seeking to serve the neighborhoods in and around Federal Way. We are currently meeting together as a core group, preparing to plant new expressions of the church in our various neighborhoods. God-willing, as our missional communities grow and multiply, all of us who were once called Pneuma will become several unique expressions of Soma Communities living out the gospel with our neighbors. The diverse suburban area north of Tacoma is all about families, and often, although hoping to live out the "American dream", many of our neighbors and friends are hurting, lonely and longing to be a part of a real family. We are engaging our neighborhoods in the regular rhythms and activities of life and calling them to the Good News of a restored relationship with their Father in heaven. As a family we look a lot like Federal Way... regular people with lots of kids, working through our struggles as we live life together.
Our Weekly Gathering
We currently meet at the Pacific Ave building starting with dinner at
5:00 on Sunday evenings. Please join us as we worship together in
preparation and anticipation of what God will do in the north-of-Tacoma
region.
